Notability[edit]

The school has a strong local community, is ranked #1 elementary school in the state, and has a well established PTO. I plan on adding much of this information with source material. Evan Davis (talk) 17:35, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please review WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES and the notability guidelines for organizations; generally elementary schools do not have their own articles, unless there is something very significant about a particular one. Even then, it might not get one (Sandy Hook Elementary School, site of a school shooting, does not have its own page, though the event does). Many schools have good PTOs so I don't think that is significant enough. I'm not sure what "ranked #1" means (who did the ranking, why, etc.) but I would see if such a thing matches up with the notability criteria. 331dot (talk) 18:52, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
