Criticism tag deleted. Retaining the misuse and controversy section is important because:

1) It is essential to understanding the genuine bhava samadhi, as described in the scriptures and accounts of the lives of great saints such as Chaitanya, Mirabai, Ramakrishna and others. The definition cannot be made clear without the contrast.

2) The controversies and misuses of bhava samadhi have been well documented (see references in article). The extensive material, which clarifies the definition of bhava samadhi, deserves a dedicated section.

3) On the topic of bhava samadhi, this material on controversies and misuse is of interest in its own right. It is a major part of teh historical phenomenon.
