Multiple Issues Template - article needs a lot of work[edit]

I couldn't figure out just the right template for this article, so I used the multiple issues template. The main problem with this article is that it contains almost no useful information on the body of water itself, and instead is padded with way too much information on other topics instead. For instance, the article provides way too much "background" information on the life, family, and family background of the pond's namesake Francis Billington, almost all of which has nothing whatsoever to do with the pond, and which could be provided simply by providing a link to Billington's father's article. I'll be cutting this down shortly. Also, the section on Billington Sea Village does not seem to merit being a section in itself, certainly not in proportion to the lack of information on the pond itself. We need more information on the pond, its size, its ecosystem/flora/fauna, any real history of the pond itself, not of its namesake. Mmyers1976 (talk) 20:33, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
