Release date?[edit]

The Wikipedia page for this movie states that the release date was October 21, 1919. However IMDB lists the premiere as 7 December 1919, and Silent Era states that it was copyrighted on 21 October 1919 but that it premiered on 7 December 1919 at the Capitol Theatre in New York. Furthermore, it was reviewed in the January 1920 edition of Picture-Play Magazine where they describe it as "Another recent picture [...]". (It can be noted that I could not find any mention of the film in the November issue of the same magazine.) For these reasons I am inclined to believe that the release date should be 7 December 1919 and not 21 October 1919 as currently is listed here on Wikipedia. I am thus adjusting the release date accordingly.

Koszarski says that "the film was shipped to New York [from Hollywood] on August 28, 1919", then held until a new title for the film could be selected (p. 38, See Sources in main article). On page 39 he reports that film, with the new title Blind Husbands "premiered at Washington's Rialto Theater on October 19, 1919" then was instantly booked for New York's Capitol theater. --Lord Such&Such (talk) 18:30, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
