Strange Sentence?[edit]

There was a sentence that read: "Only 3,200 Borchardt pistols had been produced, yet only 1,100 pistols were made by the Ludwig and Loewe Companie" (sic). I'm not able to figure out what this is trying to say; anyone know anything about this 3200 pistols number?97.123.129.23 (talk) 04:53, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"toggle-lock" mechanism[edit]

"…based upon the Maxim toggle-lock principle."

I'm not finding any occurrence of "toggle" in Maxim gun (what "Maxim" links to), nor of "maxim" in Blowback (arms) (what the "toggle-lock" link points to). So i suspect that there's a problem here. --Jerome Potts (talk) 14:39, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Early Browning prototypes had something that could be called "toggle lock". It was gas activated though and similarities with Borchardt/Luger system are barely superficial. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.212.132.113 (talk) 02:58, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The toggle back mechanism was used to compensate recoil for a high rate of fire, however the main downside is that it was very back heavy SCP 1174 (talk) 07:11, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Red Dead Redemption appearance.[edit]

So, this gun appears in RDR. Should there be some kind of note about that? [1] 213.185.45.116 (talk) 18:42, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
