Notability[edit]

This article should be flagged for notability and due weight.

No the subject is notable and the weight is fair.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 15:13, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Due weight and notability issues remain. Article longer than merited for contributions. Wonder if it's paid marketing or paid editing.
If you're accusing me, against the guidelines of assuming good faith, that I've been paid to write this article, I'm scratching my head here. But my policy is here so I'll try to assume good faith. If you genuinely feel the article doesn't belong in Wikipedia, you could put it up for deletion and see what the community says; my sense is it meets the basic criteria for general notability guideline. But if you do put it up for deletion, your contribution pattern of edits, whittling down the prose, removing brief quote in references as an aid to checking them will suggest that you are not here to improve this article, but rather to kneecap it before deleting it.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 10:47, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I also do not think that the subject is notable enough for a WP article. Her key notability seems to be that she was married to JB Straubel. Apart from that, we seems to just be a successfull IT career woman. But this is not LinkdIn. Ashmoo (talk) 14:27, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Quotes within references[edit]

They are a courtesy to facilitate the verification of references. Truncated quotes are helpful for readers wanting to learn more without having to fish out the exact text from the source; at the same time, we truncate the quotes to avoid WP:COPYVIO issues. A guideline is ...Long quotations may also be hidden in the reference or as a footnote to facilitate verification by other editors without sacrificing readability... and also ...A quotation allows readers to immediately identify the applicable portion of the reference......--Tomwsulcer (talk) 10:21, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
