CCHT external link[edit]

This link was added to the article after discussion on the WP Reliable Sources Noticeboard. See: WP:RSN exercise. No information from the CCHT link has been put into the body of the article in the form of citations because it has not yet been verified for 100% accuracy by the Victoria County History project for Cumbria. History[edit]

The text says:

"The church of St Bridget's, was originally a Norman building.... it contains several fragments of pre-Norman crosses and other early carved stones."

Ahem.... this means that "the church" was NOT originally a Norman Building! Who wrote this nonsense?

Unless someone can mount a persuasive argument I will replace this with a text of this sort:

"The present church building is of Norman origin, but contains several fragments of pre-Norman crosses and other early carved stones" Freuchie (talk) 14:58, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
