The taxonomy is weird; either one sets the higher-level taxa as subfamilies (in which case -inae) or as tribes (in which case -ini). Loriinae is a subfamily in either case. The usual taxonomy is to treat all other groups of tribes of Psittacinae

Corrected accordingly but if any future review of Psittaciformes comes up with better (more current !!!& comprehensive & less contradictory!!!) data don't hesitate to scrap and dump mercilessly what's wrong Dysmorodrepanis 06:40, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
