Another place for expansion..[edit]

@Sucker for All, yes, often articles are expanded or created that way. The editor doing such an expansion would mention in their edit summaries that they'd translated from ja.wiki. A crucial factor is the sourcing, as different wikis have different standards. You also obviously need to be careful if you aren't fluent in both languages. I did a machine translation of Racism in the wine industry for fr.wiki and had a native speaker edit the draft before publishing to both make sure I hadn't introduced error and that the language was idiomatic. —valereee (talk) 15:45, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
