Spoilers: (In case you can't watch this film, but still want to know what is the plot.)

Terraforming Rhea failed. So all people who are supposed to live on Rhea, are hooked up to a simulation (a matrix, if you will). (They still can send to and receive messages from outside world though). It is a massive lie. The cargo ship is not transporting materials, but are transporting more people to be plugged into the simulation. The security officer is a resistance fighter actually, but the first mate is a traitor (in on the lie). Decker and Portmann manage to destroy the antenna, and before blowing the antenna up Portmann sends a message from inside the simulation, exposing the coverup. 195.216.176.150 (talk) 18:25, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The above ending matches the version I just watched, yet the wiki page itself says they blow up the ship and mainframe. Are there 2 versions of the movie/ending? Xeddicus (talk) 19:20, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The plot described on the wikipedia page is slightly misleading- it doesn't mention the murders, the deceptions from some of the crew, the deaths or the freedom fighter leader being on the ship! It could do with more detail adding.

Also might mention that it's not in english but with subtitles? The copy on amazon prime is anyway. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.211.2.251 (talk) 19:13, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
