'''Cathal Pendred''' → Cathal Pendred – Destination article was salted after multiple G4 vios; however, he has since fought two top-tier bouts bringing him within one of meeting WP:NMMA, which he is scheduled to meet next month. There is stronger evidence for notability now than in the AfD discussion a year and a half ago, and would not be a G4 at this point. WP:TOOSOON seems overly bureaucratic at this point. The timing for the article is all right but I think (and this is due to the need to salt the article) we need to go to Deletion review to sort out the naming. Or find a friendly administrator. I've asked one.Peter Rehse (talk) 22:15, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am not comfortable making the move on my personal authority. That being said, if someone interested in the article is willing to take this article to deletion review then I am willing to move the current article to Draft:Cathal Pendred. This page should not be speedily deleted because... He's 2-0 in the UFC. His first outing for them saw him take home a fight of the night bonus and he is unbeaten in his last 10 fights. This person is a UFC superstar. 2 fights in the UFC and 2 wins. He is the second most well known mixed martial artist in Ireland after Conor McGregor. He is so notable in ireland that he was interviewed on Ireland's most viewed late night talk show; The Late Late Show.

This page should not be speedily deleted because it would appear they may be a break through athlete within a few months. It may not be ready for promotion, but the draft should remain for a couple more fights. Anyone that can win in the UFC should be notable enough to rate.
