Defaultsort problem[edit]

Wikispecies has discussion (wikispecies:Talk:Charles Wyville Thomson) that {{DEFAULTSORT:Thomson, Charles Wyville}} is not correct. Is correct sorting key "Whyville Thomson, Charles"?--Estopedist1 (talk) 17:12, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Extremely late (and already noted on Wikispecies), but this has been resolved: Wyville is actually a given name, not a family name, so sorting as "Thomson, Charles Wyville" is correct after all. Monster Iestyn (talk) 23:45, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
