The result of the move request was: Moving Chitra Pournami → Chitra Pournami (film). Consensus that the film isn't primary topic, but no consensus yet that the festival is primary topic, therefore we go to a dab page for now. — Amakuru (talk) 14:06, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Chitra Pournami (festival) → Chitra Pournami – The festival is the primary topic. The article on the film can be renamed "Chitra Pournami (film)". That's the same reason why Aadi Perukku does not have the "festival" suffix in its article title, and the unrelated film is titled "Aadi Perukku (film)". Comment: The two articles get roughly equal page views.[1] The film article should definitely move to Chitra Pournami (film), but a two-entry dab page should be at Chitra Pournami, at least so we can see how the page views shake out with them both disambiguated.--Cúchullain ^t/c 17:01, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed move to Chaitra Purnima[edit]

The standard name of this observance is Chaitra Purnima (Caitra Purṇimā). Chitra Pournami is a regional rendering. Chaitra Purnima is currently a redirect to Hanuman Jayanti, which is observed on this occasion. Please express your support or opposition here for this discussion to move forward.
