Hi, I'm a representative from Crown Equipment Corporation. We wanted to inform the editors the 2016 MMH ranking has been updated. Crown now ranks as the fourth largest manufacturer.

Hi, I'm a representative from Crown Equipment Corporation. We wanted to inform the editors of some updates to our entry we plan to post this week, as summarized:

1) Update 2010 reference to "fourth largest manufacturer" to reflect Modern Materials Handling's 2012 listing that now has us at fifth. source: http://www.mmh.com/article/top_20_lift_truck_suppliers_2012

2) Update 2008 Forbes' list to reflect our current ranking of 208 for 2012 source: http://www.forbes.com/sites/andreamurphy/2012/11/28/americas-largest-private-companies-2012/

3) Delete the count of Crown-owned and Independent dealers in the USA. This changes too often to assure current and accurate updates.

4) Hamech section addition: In 2011, CLARK Material Handling Company and Crown Equipment Corporation entered into an agreement whereby CLARK will supply Crown with certain privately branded internal combustion trucks for distribution by Crown to factory stores and a limited number of independent Crown dealers in the United States and Canada. source: http://www.forkliftaction.com/news/newsdisplay.aspx?nwid=10485
