Rome Sentinel → Daily Sentinel (Rome, New York) – Doing this to get consensus on the target name. This newspaper changed its name to the Daily Sentinel in 2022. There are or were several other papers with that name, and Daily Sentinel is a redir to a disambiguation page. I don't think this paper has a case for being the primary usage of the name Daily Sentinel. Daily Sentinel (Rome) would be confusing, since everyone thinks of a different Rome first. Daily Sentinel (New York) has the same problem and there's also the New York Daily Sentinel to get confused with. Daily Sentinel (New York State) would imply it covers the entire state, which it doesn't. Daily Sentinel (Rome, New York) is kind of ugly but seems like the least bad option. I am open to other suggestions. Apocheir (talk) 00:43, 31 December 2023 (UTC) — Relisting.SkyWarrior 01:12, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support as per nom. The (Rome) disambiguation tag could certainly lead to confusion. No objection to the alternate proposal by User:Roman Spinner, as it does seem common for similar articles involving United States newspapers to use the city name only. Note that WP:USPLACE doesn't necessarily apply to disambiguation tags. 162 etc. (talk) 20:24, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Relisting comment: While there is (at this time) consensus to move, there is no consensus as to where to move the article to. As such, relisting to get more opinions. SkyWarrior 01:12, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
