Establishment[edit]

Thiere are two interesting researches about that museum in Hebrew:

1. Gershon Ben Oren, The history-ethnography museum of Georgiian Jews, in Hebrew
2. Lili Magal The archive of The museum of Georgiian Jews an the probability to his resumption. in Hebrew

A. In the first article it been said that tha activities for museum establishment started in 1931 by establish of club of the jewish culture named "The red october" that headed by Menashe Yekhezkelashvili, theatre actor. the source is ილია პაპისიმედოვი, 'რაც ვნახე, მოვისმინე, გან-ვიცადე'. ხელნაწერი. (Papismidov, "memories") p.411 .

B. It is said also that "The centre of the jewish culture" (koltevaze) established in 1933 in 1st of may street.

Thank you, I chaked this information, Tbilisi state museum presented this exibition because museum of history of jews is under constraction. can you halp me in adding photos? I dont know if I can help you with thos pictures. you have to ask the website permition. you can look for another photos. first look her if you can fond something or her(I looked but not find). you can try pictures her only from the user Otiko. You can try www.flickr.com. if you are from tbilisi you can take picturs yourself. and also possible to ask sombody from tbilisi to do so.
