Lynch, Declan (29 October 2023). "The ghosts of Berlin would be shocked to see Donald Trump's coup still merrily rolling along". Sunday Independent. A few years ago I realised there was a Wikipedia page about me... I forget most of it, but I do recall that it was clearly written by someone who didn't like me very much. I was presented as someone who had devoted his life mainly to the destruction of the Irish language — after trying my luck as some kind of singer-songwriter. The main thing I remember is that by some miracle of navigation which I couldn't possibly repeat, I somehow found myself being able to send a message to Wikipedia, telling them how bad it was and demanding that they take it down immediately. Which, within a few hours, they did... I also supplied them with a few sparse facts about my actual life which were not very interesting, but which were not untrue either... compared with the original screed which seemingly was compiled by ultra-nationalist critics.
