Editing this article[edit]

I have removed a large amount of text from this article because it appears to have been copied directly from http://www.biegan.com/2010/07/tour-the-nanjing-defense-sonomi-film/. Two reasons:

  • It is a breach of copyright to take other people's words to this extent, even if you put quote marks around the sections.
  • It was written in very bad English and was almost incomprehensible.

Please rewrite the information in your own words, in clear English, if you want to replace it in the article. Thank you. PamD 22:21, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Defence or Defense?[edit]

A question: what is the name of this park? The title of the article uses British spelling, the text uses US spelling. Please decide, and make it consistent. PamD 22:23, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

@PamD:I've seen it spelled both ways: "Defence" in the Defense News publication and Nanjing National Defense Park by the Nanjing Government. So, I put both names in the article and created a Nanjing National Defense Park redirect to this page.--CaroleHenson (talk) 20:55, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article revisions[edit]

The article needed some cleaning up, so I removed:

  • Language that was not unique to Defence Park, but about Stone City.
  • Information from dead links that I wasn't able to find sources for.

I added back the only information that I could find with reliable sources. I also could not find the site on maps.

Perhaps someone else who can access Chinese sources may find more information.--CaroleHenson (talk) 21:01, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Simpler name[edit]

We could probably move this to Defence Park as there is no need to disambiguate. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:18, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
