Lachenal was one of the premiere Art Nouveau French potters. His work is in every Museum collection of pottery from this period, throughout the world. He received a gold medal for his work and display at the 1900 Universal Exposition in Paris, and he worked with Rodin in the 1890s. He is not a minor figure, even if you have not heard of him.
