Duel with Daniels[edit]

Not clear why Confederate troops wanted to cheer someone who was gambling away the nation's dwindling hard currency (if he did). Was it just the Mississippi-gambler spirit? Valetude (talk) 20:21, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
