GA Reassessment[edit]

I am doing the GA Reassessment on this article as part of the GA Sweeps project. The article is very well written from a prose stand point. I do have some concerns about the article when it is put up against the GA Criteria.

The format of the references is not consistent and needs to be redone.

It is fine to put expository notes in the "Notes/References" section but ref [6] has notes followed by a year and page numbers but no reference to a book title, or author name.
Ref [13] is cited four times and simply as an "x". Nothing more.
Please use the reference templates at WP:CITE to help organize the references more consistently.

I note a few websites referenced, please include publisher, author, date, and accessdate. The minimal amount of information is publisher and accessdate. The more info in the reference the better. I count five references without this minimal information.

There are three dead links in the references, 62, 63, and the Leon website. Also in the third external link the "About" link is dead. These links will need to be repaired.
I placed a couple of ^{[citation needed]} templates in the article where I felt there were missing in-line citations.
Watch weasel wording. Statements like "Some assert..." are weasel words unless the statement can be attributed to someone, then it is necessary to put that information into the text.

Considering the need for work to be done on this article I am placing it on hold for one week. If work is accomplished I will be happy to keep the article. If work is not done then the article will be delisted from GA. H1nkles (talk) 15:50, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The hold is up on this article but for some reason I did not transclude it to the article's talk page. I do see a little work being done so I will extend the hold for a few more days. I will check back on June 15 or 16. H1nkles (talk) 19:11, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article has been on hold for over ten days and while work has been done, my concerns do not appear to have been addressed. At this point I will delist the article. The issues shouldn't be too hard to fix and then the article can be renominated at WP:GAC. H1nkles (talk) 15:02, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reviewing H1nkles, and for notifying me on my talk page. I might have a look at it, but probably not. I think any article benefits from being edited by more than one editor to give it balance, and I have done my part... Thanks again though.
