@Kirbanzo: I've deprodded and expanded this, and added the sources I could find, but I'm aware that the article still doesn't really demonstrate that the book meets WP:BK or WP:GNG – none of the sources deal extensively with the book itself, so while there's coverage in reliable sources, there may not be significant coverage. Accordingly, you may still want to take this to AfD. Nonetheless, it seems possible that coverage could be found in languages I don't speak, probably predominantly Yiddish (both the encyclopaedias I've cited point to Yiddish-language further reading). There's also a matter of spelling: the author's name seems to be variously spelled Eli/Elie/Elye Schechtman/Shectman/Shekhtman/Chekhtman, which confuses matters further when looking for sources. Ideally, I think we'd have an article about the author to which this could redirect if it were shown not to be notable – thankfully, I see that Wiki82esh has been working on this at Draft:Eli Schechtman (pinging also DGG, who's taken a look at said draft, in case he has anything to add here). – Arms & Hearts (talk) 20:21, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

- Yes, I'll help with Schechtman if I can, but I think it's almost ready for mainspace. (There will be a good deal of cleanup necessary ,but it can be done in mainspace--Bringing together each book with the translations of it, adding the names of the books in Yiddish or Hebrew or Russian script as well as in transliteration, adding redirects for the diffeent transliterations, and, most difficult, checking to see what does not have a article to link to here, but does in other WPedias.
