Ideologies[edit]

Since some editors seemingly cannot comprehend the process of WP:BRD, I will gladly start the debate. The recent edits to the ideologies in the infobox are far less descriptive and more vague than the status quo version. User "Loytra" admitted that their edit was less precise. The current terms used are not overtly detailing the party's exact plan, rather, terms like "Pro-Europeanism" and "Pro-Western" are ideological points of view, much like "Atlanticisim". They are accepted terms used within the infoboxes of countless political party wiki pages. There are no wikipolicies which categorically and outright ban the use of these terms in infoboxes. Atlanticism, as an ideology, supports strong ties between North America and Europe. There are several issues with adding this with zero WP:RS. Firstly, Atlanticism supports closer ties with all of North America (which includes Canada and Mexico). There is no source in the body of this article supporting the notion that one of the EPA's goals is to develop stronger ties with Canada and Mexico. Secondly, Atlanticism as an ideology, counts countries with territory in Europe (the countries of the European Union, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Turkey) are listed, but not Armenia, as its geographical location is in West Asia. So explain to me how adding this completely unsourced and vague term is a better representation of the EPA's ideology? That is why "Accession of Armenia into NATO", is far more precise and is indeed backed up by sources. It is not detailing the party's exact plan, but mentions the party's overarching goal based on its ideological views. Atlanticism, as a generic term, does not accomplish this. In regards too "Russophobia", the term "Anti-Russian" is derived from "Russophobia." It literally is the same thing, with the exact same meaning. There is no significant difference to justify one over the other. That is why, we should stick with consistency. There are well over a hundred Armenian political party wiki articles, and none of them use the term "Russophobia" within their respective infoboxes. It does not make any sense to break consistency and change the phrasing on this one particular article, especially since the meaning of both terms is identical.
