Need for Balance[edit]

Agreed but what about the others? Is there a balanced POV?

As there are no other reviews cited in this article, I'm not sure what precisely you're referring to. Rebecca 07:03, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tend to find reviews on the main page (Deepa Mehta) of her films and many of them are Pro-Mehta as an activist (particularly for women's issues) etc. I believe it would be informative for readers to know what some (some) feminists feel about her work.

Biased Plot Summary[edit]

I find this plot summary to be particularly focused on the masculine aspects of the plot. I find this pretty insulting considering this is a movie about a relationship between two women. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by FelixFortuna (talkcontribs) 12:21, 13 July 2007.

editing this page for class project[edit]

Hi there! I'll be editing this page over the next few days for a class project for a college class. I'll be addressing events that surrounding the screening of the film in India, as well as well as the public dialogue around it, and linking it up to related topics.
