Photo for article?[edit]

I see a CC-BY-NC-SA photo on Panoramio, so someone might want to contact the author and ask about removing the NC portion—then it could be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. Alternatively (or as a backup plan), I could just go out and take some photos. I work nearby. -- Phyzome is Tim McCormack 17:28, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can think of some good vantage points of Fresh Pond which epitomize the area?

  • 1) The pine tree forest at the corner of Huron & Fresh Pond Parkway.
  • 2) In the upper part of Kingsley Park there is a stonewall near the back which is a lookout that allows you to see across the pond in the same way.
  • 3) Looking down the slope at Kingsley Park which is a prominent area for runners or dog walkers. And snow sledding in winter.
  • 4) Near the north side of the Water Treatment plant the trees thin out and you can get a spectacular view of pond glistening in the sun right before sundown.
  • 5) The golf course side of the pond.

I'd take some as placeholders since that is my neighbourhood but the resolution on my camera phone is poor, so I'd hope that someone would take them over again at some point. Example: The slight terminals at Logan Airport and plaques about the Boston Tea Party. They're somewhat fuzzy. CaribDigita (talk) 02:29, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for expansion[edit]

These have lots of interesting details that could be added:
