Aarau[edit]
Aarau District
The northern part of Aarau (specifically Densbüren Gemeinde) Is in the fricktal. This is clear both on the Densbüren Gemeinde website and obvious from a relief map.
(The reason why densbüren is in the "wrong" district from a geographic perspective is historical / religious. All of laufenberg district (excepting the eastern part of the new boztal geminde, which used to be in the Brugg district) used to be in Austria and is catholic.
