According to the latest Forbes list (2007) his net worth is $2.1 billion, which is significantly less than the $5.7 billion stated in this article. Perhaps the precipious drop in Japanese real estate prices over the past decade had something to do with this discrepancy. Shouldn't this be updated to reflect the more current estimate?
