George A. SnowGeorge Albert Snow – there is also a physicist. 217.21.43.22 (talk) 09:56, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Does the physicist have an article because if not I don`t think we need to move this article?--69.157.253.160 (talk) 23:35, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, it's just the two of them (George Snow for the schoolmaster/bishop – where I've just added a hatnote pointing to this one – and George A. Snow, this article. --V2Blast (talk) 00:09, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose – As per the above point, this article should not be moved solely because of the existence of another person who doesn't even have a Wikipedia article. If they do eventually get a Wikipedia article, and both go by the common name "George A. Snow", we can then consider which of them should be the primary topic (and thus be located at the current article title); if, then, neither is deemed to be overwhelmingly more significant/searched-for than the other, then we can make the current article title a disambiguation page linking to both (and probably George Snow Hill as well. ...But until that happens, there is no need to move the current page (assuming the Canadian politician does indeed go by the common name "George A. Snow"). --V2Blast (talk) 00:09, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment if this isn't renamed, the requested name should become a redirect -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 06:16, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with that as well. --V2Blast (talk) 05:09, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No need to rename unless the other individual gets an article. In any case, we don't use middle names as disambiguators if that wasn't the common name the individual went by. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:22, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
