PROD was started based solely on "Fails GNG", however Gerard Pappa is mentioned in numerous books. Sure, the article needs inline citations to make it more clear that the article is cited correctly, but that issue is independent of GNG matters. I also found the following which shows the breadth that this man's name is mentioned in print. Hardly lacks GNG.
