Recommend adding G2E as an article to jump to this one. ---Ransom (--71.4.51.150 17:43, 24 September 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Gaming/Gambling: less ambiguous term should be preferred.[edit]

The word gaming is linked to the article gambling. Is this on purpose? The term 'gaming' is ambiguous. It could mean a number of different things (basketball, Monopoly, hide & seek, Dungeons and Dragons, tiddlywinks, marbles, hunting preserve upkeep, etc.). While the gambling industry may wish to use the term gaming to describe itself, we should probably use it only in specific names (such as 'Global Gaming Expo') and use the more specific term (gambling) when referring to the industry and the trade show's content. This applies to the American Gaming Association article too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.155.221.10 (talk) 23:02, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
