This article gives absolutely no idea exactly what Golden Nuggets are. --Bando26 (talk) 05:11, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What do they taste like? --71.121.192.239 (talk) 22:43, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Flavour of Golden Nuggets[edit]

Perhaps we should look into defining what Golden Nuggets actually taste like. Simply stating that "They Taste Yeee Haa!!" does not conform to an encyclopedic standard. --Andrews Palop (talk) 13:31, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then remove it until you have evidence. - BurbankCA (talk) 17:01, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cut[edit]

I've cut this as it's too vague, and 'golden balls' is a generic name rather than an old name:

They caused controversy in 2001 when they featured in a film, still under the old title of Golden Balls.

Old vs New[edit]

I remember that the Nuggets, when they first came out, were roughly ball shaped. Also, as a child, I seem to remember they were much larger....

but perhaps I had a smaller mouth? TTFN Chunner (talk) 13:09, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

'Smegma'[edit]

I find it absurd that no one has mentioned the fact that the taste of this cereal has been likened to penile discharge. I thought these pages were moderated at least. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.133.255 (talk) 00:59, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Templates[edit]

I've removed the mutliple issues template and replaced it with a Third-party 'more citations needed' template [edit, Meticulo (talk) 11:19, 17 September 2019 (UTC)]. I added more citations but these are either corporate or fan websites - unfortunately I couldn't find reliable sources for this subject.[reply]

As for notability, as long as Honey Smacks and Coco Pops have articles, a strong argument would need to be made for deleting Golden Nuggets. Meticulo (talk) 06:17, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, here's some links to history of their 1939 origins in the United States as Ranger Joe Rice Honnies and Ranger Joe Wheat Honnies. I haven't put these in the article, as it already has enough dubious citations. Meticulo (talk) 15:27, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
