Date of disestablishment[edit]

There seems to be some dispute about when this organisation disestablished. I'm going by such sources as

  • "The Consolidated Trades' Union of 1834", W. H. Oliver, The Economic History Review New Series, Vol. 17, No. 1 (1964), pp. 77-95
  • Hollis, Patricia, C'lass and conflict in nineteenth-century England, 1815-1850, Routledge, 1973, ISBN 0710074190, p.176
  • The London Tailors' Strike of 1834 and the Collapse of the Grand National Consolidated Trades' Union: A Police Spy's Report, International Review of Social History (1977), 22: 65-107

to support the point that the organisation collapsed in 1834 and was succeeded by the Friendly Association of the Unionists of All Classes of All Nations. Repeal the Corn Laws now! (talk) 17:38, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
