Blackface Sweater Controversy

Does "This advertisement may sound shocking to some, but to the advertisement industry it is a prime example of what they are supposed to do. William O'Barr argues that advertisements' main priority is to break through and draw the consumer's attention, regardless of what is deemed appropriate in society's eyes" sounds a little apologetic and POV to anyone else? --FeldBum (talk) 12:57, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

I reorged a bit, since I think that line was really about some TV ads Gucci produced, not the sweater release. Still think it's POV. Welcome opinions. --FeldBum (talk) 13:02, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
