July 20, 2016 Attorney General Clarifications[edit]

This page is not accurate at the moment. The Massachusetts attorney general released clarifications on what weapons are classified as assault weapons, and none of this information is available in the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.240.56.42 (talk) 01:34, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

Recently a {{Cleanup}} tag was added to the article -- "This article may require cleanup to meet Wikipedia's quality standards...." There's plenty of room for improvement here, but I don't see any obvious problems with the article, worthy of being tagged, so I'm going to take the tag back off. But, feel free to re-add the tag, and explain here in this talk page section specifically what needs to be cleaned up. Thanks. Mudwater (Talk) 12:05, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, it should be divided into sections. That makes sense. Mudwater (Talk) 00:36, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The section about open carry is incorrect. I edited it a few weeks ago, but it changed back to being incorrect and since there is no citation there, there is no reason that it should have been changed back since the information currently provided can not be proven factually. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.110.231.26 (talk) 20:10, 5 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Storage Section - Questionable neutrality without references[edit]

Just that. Several decorative adjectives or backhanded attempts to summarize facts instead of providing them (e.g. "effectively nullified" or "effectively turning"). Original author makes no attempts to hide bias with "accomplished by improperly selling firearms to a dealer." 2605:A601:AC77:8F00:9997:9043:E085:76D4 (talk) 23:11, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree — and came here to say this 2601:192:4D00:8460:7CD2:31FB:F603:9A5C (talk) 08:17, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
