Armament[edit]

Hi All. I am currently compiling a summary of all capital ships in commission by the UK from 1860 onward and am using the Wiki as my primary reference. I notices that all of the other ships of the Caroline Group of the C Class destroyers, which includes HMS Caroline, were commissioned with just two 6" guns but included eight 4 inch guns. Later on this was adjusted by various changes to four 6 inchers and no 4 inchers, but for some reason the entry for this ship is completely different. Making matters worse, the 6 inch armament is recorded as consisting of four guns, with in brackets "2 x 1". There must be an error somewhere, or possibly random vandalism.

Could someone with much better resources find the true values here, otherwise I am happy to follow up and edit. Rags17 (talk) 04:51, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
