"Hadron collider" is a common noun[edit]

This article was a redirect to Large Hadron Collider, which was incorrect. A review of articles that link to this page will show that "hadron collider" was meant to refer to more than one device. So here is a definition and list (not yet complete, I think). — ℜob C. alias ÀLAROB 20:06, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Must the tunnels be underground?[edit]

An anonymous editor flagged the term "underground tunnels" as "dubious," asking whether the tunnels are a necessary feature. Does anyone have an informed comment? Is there a better way to define a hadron collider? — ob C. alias ALAROB 15:55, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Since the anon didn’t start the convo here at that time, as that template requires, I’ve removed it. — SpikeToronto 03:50, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stub or list?[edit]

Given that hadron colliders are a type of particle accelerator, and that beyond that each one is quite different from the others, should this be called a list instead of marked as a permastub? Or can it grow beyond a stub on its own? —siroχo 06:17, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
