Germanized??[edit]

"Germanized in the tag in her suitcase as "Hanna Brady" --How would anyone know this if the Suitcase in the museum was a hoax and the actual one, of which there is no proof or photos, is said to have been burnt in fire. (with no citations to back up that claim.)

This is a really bad article - "The Germans changed the names on the suitcase." "The Suitcase no one has ever seen, and no photos of it are known to exist."

There is a photograph of the original suitcase, taken in 1963. The replica suitcase was created based on this original photograph. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.253.197.191 (talk) 12:08, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Really Bradová?[edit]

Is there any resource for this czech form of her surname? Everywhere I looked it was always "Bradyová". Kriplozoik 14:06, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it is Bradyová, the Czech translation of "Hana´s Suitcase" uses the family name Bradyovi, not Bradovi. Similar example is the name of a Czech-Jewish writer Ruth Bondy, in the Czech version always Bondyová, not Bondová. (Bondová would be the Czech name of James Bond´s wife :)). I´ve fixed it.

killed in a gas chamber?[edit]

where is the source? no citation. who witnessed her killing? what proof is there that she didnt die from the Typhus epidemic? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.151.155.124 (talk) 10:21, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering about the same. If there is no evidence that she was killed in the gas chamber, this shouldn't be in the article. Rather call her missing. --41.18.218.230 (talk) 19:28, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nice try. IP 91.151.155.124 appears to be some kid who periodically shows up on Wikipedia to vandalize articles and IP 41.18.218.230 has two edits: one on this talk page and one adding the word "allegedly" into the article. I would say that if you had the read a single thing about Auschwitz, the Holocaust, Hana Brady's story, etc. then you would not make such an absurd edit - but I imagine you have ulterior motives. I am reverting the edit. Myrkkyhammas (talk) 15:33, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
