Changes to the English translation[edit]

I am Heinrich Lamm's son, Michael. I noticed several misspellings in the English translation of his Wikipedia entry. I realize that Google does the translating of the original German version, but Google's automatic translation misspells "Lamm" twice and also confuses the reader in one sentence.

How do I correct the English translation? Do I have to contact Google?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Michael. Welcome to Wikipedia. I would be happy to help, but I don't yet understand the problem. Each language's Wikipedia is separate. Sometimes an article may be started by translating an existing article from another language, but once that happens each article evolves separately, with the users of each language's Wikipedia editing the article in their own language. I don't see any spelling errors in the English Wikipedia article on Lamm, which is here. Google translations, on the other hand, are generated on-the-fly by Google. There is no point trying to correct a Google translation of a specific work.--Srleffler (talk) 05:37, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
