somewhat awkward translation[edit]

The article about Helga Schubert reads in places like an awkward translation from German. For example, in English no one would say "she ... worked afterwards a year in a Berlin industrial plant" (we would say "Afterwards, she worked for a year in ..." etc.). Similarly, in English one wouldn't say "The author lives today together with painter ..." (the word order is wrong and "together" wouldn't be used here in English; I suspect this was an awkward translation from "zusammenleben") but rather "Today, the author lives with painter ..." etc. Maybe I'll try to touch up the language a bit but at the moment I don't have time to consult the original German article (though I read German perfectly).
