Racism[edit]

@User:The Human Trumpet Solo, Jews for Urban Justice was protesting against *white racism* against *black people* in Jewish communities. What about this is controversial? And you removed "white" from "white Jewish land developers". Are we to believe that it was black Jewish or Asian Jewish land developers enforcing whites-only covenants? I find that an absurd thing to omit. Of course those land developers were white.

Please review WP:NOR. At no point do any of the sources say "white Jews". Introducing content based entirely on inferences is original research. Besides that, it should go without saying that the Jewish landowners and developers mentioned therein were legally white (a status all MENA peoples have enjoyed since the 1910s). @User talk:The Human Trumpet Solo, "MENA"? These land developers were not MENA Jews. They were white Jews of European descent. People like Albert Small, Sam Eig, and Abraham Kay were of European descent. Tagging the article to mention the problem of Eurocentric racism within the article is not "unjustified" or "disruptive". Racism is unjustified and disruptive. I added that tag to highlight this problem and encourage discussion, but you removed the tag, I think readers should be aware of the racism and aware that this conversation is happening. Mentioning that the perpetrators of the racism were white is as relevant as mentioning that the victims were black. I did not add "white" to preexisting content to "make a point". That was the original wording of the content that I added to the article, before it was altered by another (non-registered) editor. Is that you while you are logged out of your account or is that another editor? If it isn't you, maybe he/she could comment on this issue and provide their reasoning. If anything, it appears to me that you are disrupting Wikipedia to make the controversial and, in my view, blatantly racist point that "Jews can't be white / Jews are MENA people". Is that your belief or not? Is it non-disruptive to promote race science on Wikipedia? I would consider the promotion of race science to be tendentious itself (See: Wikipedia:Fringe theories). Furthermore, you didn't answer my question as to what "This links to a Wikipedia article" means.

Putting aside your self-evidently absurd claim that it is 'racist' to call Jews Middle Eastern (a view I imagine most Jews would disagree with; if anything, most are more likely to argue that it is racist to refuse to recognize Jews as Middle Eastern), you are aware that Mizrahi Jews are legally white in the United States, right? None of the sources made any mention of Ashkenazi and Mizrahi Jews. Both of them say "Jews", and that's it. Therefore, that's how the article should read.

Your reply consists of little more than assumptions, accusations, and POV. None of that is sufficient for implementing an unsupported change, needless to say. Yes, pushing race-science on Wikipedia is blatantly and explicitly racist. It's outrageous and doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Nazi-style racial science *should not* be pushed on this website. The idea that Jews are inherently racially "Middle Eastern" is *your* ideological and political point of view. Many, many people both Jewish and non-Jewish would dispute that claim.
