Holy GroundHoly ground (disambiguation) – moved a disambiguation page onto a mainspace article name. This is a major concept that most of the disambig items are referencing. Darker Dreams (talk) 15:47, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 17:54, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Darker Dreams and Lennart97: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 17:56, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Darker Dreams: Wrong venue. Your initial move was undiscussed and Shhhnotsoloud reverted it. The next step is to discuss with them or start an RM. Lennart97 (talk) 16:11, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • FFS. This entire namespace has been a mess of redundant stubs, start class articles, and disambiguation pages in main names. But, by all means, lets make this as complicated as possible to make something useful out of. Darker Dreams (talk) 16:16, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • This place is, as the name suggests, for requesting uncontroversial moves. "Uncontroversial" means that someone may reasonably object. In this case, someone clearly already objected by reverting your move, so obviously your requested move is not uncontroversial. This is neither complicated nor hard to understand. Lennart97 (talk) 16:26, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. This is a correctly-formatted disambiguation page at the correct title. All of the entries are of the capitalised form, except for one: the redirect Holy ground. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:17, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • This is a list of things that all have qualifiers (WP:PRECISION, WP:QUALIFIER) except for the core concept from which it varies by only one letter. While "It is occasionally acceptable to create two articles (on different topics) with titles that differ only in capitalization"[[1]] it is not the standard, especially when there is a primary topic WP:PRIMARYTOPIC all other uses are references to. Darker Dreams (talk) 04:09, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Darker Dreams:. You're missing the point of different capitalisation. There is no primary topic for the capitalised "Holy Ground": it is not "Holy ground" because "Holy Ground" and "Holy ground" are different. WP:SMALLDETAILS gives some examples. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:25, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Shhhnotsoloud, see WP:DABNAME. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:47, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
