Valamanesh was born, raised, and even educated at an Arts institution in Iran before moving to Australia. His works are highly regarded and he has spoken about the influence of his birthplace in his works; it is my opinion that his inclusion in the List of Iranian Artists would be both accurate and respectful (unless anyone has information to the contrary). His name in the list could be accompanied by the parenthesis '(Australia)' to indicate his emigration. I have edited a thesis on Valamanesh's works, but that, and a subsequent love of his art, is the limit of my expertise, although the author of that thesis is a Curator at the National Gallery of Australia and is my best friend and personal artistic advisor. ;) Charlie Sanders (talk) 03:39, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

He is already listed in List of Iranians#Painters, illustrators and sculptors, which also links to the List of Iranian artists, so to include him in the latter would be an unnecessary duplication. (He's also listed in Iranian Australians.) Bahudhara (talk) 06:16, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
