Omission of currency DEM/280
The table of Historical currency codes omits the currency DEM/280. This currency existed until 1999-04-16, when it was replaced by DEM/276 via ISO 4217 Amendment 102 [1]. The reason for the change was the change in the ISO 3166-1 numeric code from 280 (for West Germany) to 276 (for the unified Germany). See ISO 3166-1 numeric: Withdrawn codes.
