Merger of GIMI and IAOIP[edit]
The Merger of these two organizations will transform the standards and certification industry.
The International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP) and the Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement. The merger brings together two global leaders in innovation thought leadership, management certification and training. The synergies between IAOIP and GIMI will position the new organization as the absolute leader and most impactful network in innovation Thought leadership, management certification, and training. The combined organization will leverage the strengths of IAOIP’s unique ISO Tag and membership model and GIMI’s strength in governments, Fortune 500 companies, and universities – to offer innovative opportunities to network and provide solutions to leaders around the world. The new organization will provide a forum for global innovation Thought leadership, events, and a comprehensive suite of innovation management certification programs and training courses that will help organizations around the world drive excellence in measurable returns on investment. The merger is expected to close late 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
