Category[edit]

This article talks about the international use of U.S. currency, and so I definitely say it should not go in Category:Currencies of the United States. Category discussion?? Georgia guy (talk) 23:12, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Definitive list[edit]

The infobox on United States Dollar seems to have the best list of countries that official use or widely use the currency, though it seems like this page is a better place for that and a better target for a redirect from List of countries using the United States Dollar. Plus, it could be split up more granularly into official sole, one of multiple official, pegged, de facto sole, and de facto option. -- Beland (talk) 20:10, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Prohibition[edit]

Is there an article discussing the legality of US dollar holdings? I heard buying US dollar is prohibited in some countries. --Raphael1 19:26, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Map Concerns[edit]

The color-coding on the map showing countries that make use of the US dollar and the Euro uses a color scheme that can make it difficult or impossible for colorblind users to use. Would it be fine to modify the current color scheme, or is there some significance to the current legend's color scheme? Wincii (talk) 22:57, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Belarusian basket?[edit]

From the infobox: "Note that the Belarusian ruble is pegged to the euro, Russian ruble, and U.S. dollar in a currency basket."

I'm not sure this is still true. The Belarusian ruble article describes the 2009 pegging referenced in this article as an "unsuccessful attempt at currency reform", and there isn't any mention of their ruble being pegged to any currency basket. Paulo_diCapistrano 21:28, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
