Untitled[edit]

Created stub. Todd should have an article; he was a respected scholar. Notuncurious (talk) 03:56, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hang On[edit]

I don't think this is suitable for speedy deletion under A7 - have added link to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography article. Would note a large number of hits for books by or mentioning this person [1] Think this could be expanded successfully will try and look back at it later if no one else does -Hunting dog (talk) 08:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He was a prolific writer with a number of notable contributions; I'm more interested in his works than his bio, but will fill out the article so as to avoid the suspicion that he was not notable (prefer that someone else did it, but that's unlikely). From the trivial stub that I created, the bot was in the right to be suspicious. Appreciate the quick catch, Hunting dog. Regards, Notuncurious (talk) 16:32, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think there's enough there now to demonstrate notability; set the banners above to "start" from "stub", and assigned "low" importance; let the appropriate groups adjust it as they will. Regards, Notuncurious (talk) 03:25, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not a bot... :( - Adolphus79 (talk) 03:31, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Argh!! (And I was trying to so hard to do well!! ;-) Sorry, Adolphus79, mea culpa, and by the way, your patrolling efforts are appreciated. Best Regards, Notuncurious (talk) 03:45, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
no worries, not the first time I've been called a bot... LOL - Adolphus79 (talk) 03:53, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
