Deletion of pre-1931 material
I have removed the bulk of the pre-1931 material, which is more appropriately dealt with at Bible Student movement. A discussion of this took place at Talk:Bible Student movement#'Exodus'. Much of the material I've removed was worth saving, so I'll insert this into the Bible Student movement article when time permits. This splinter group article still need some tidy-up work, and I'll return to this when I can. Any other contributions are most welcome. LTSally (talk) 01:02, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Is there a set procedure for doing things such as this? Should the material have been deleted before it was incorporated anywhere else? Even if future attention is needed, should the material at least have been "parked" at Bible Student Movement in a subheading something like "Material awaiting integration, from JW Splinter groups"? Should a conspicuous link be added, pointing to Bible Student Movement#before 1931 or whatever it's named over there?

- Parking it under a subheading at the new article as you've proposed wouldn't work because it would effectively be using the new article as a sandbox. It still exists in the article's history and I clearly marked its deletion on the talk page. Give me a few days and I'll add it to the new article, or feel free to work on it yourself.
