Notability[edit]

I think this hall is notable, other halls in St Andrews have their own pages University of St Andrews#Student Halls. More importantly however, this hall has appeared in the news with multiple stories on the BBC [1] and other news sites [2] [3][4]

  • These are passing references, not about John Burnet Hall itself. Every incident takes place somewhere; the location does not inherit notability. AllyD (talk) 13:32, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • My first inclination is to flag this article for merger into the main article on the University, but it isn't clear that anything here would be worthy of inclusion there? Basically a student residence exists. AllyD (talk) 13:34, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough, I did some googling and found a couple of references referring to the halls history, though I was only able to link to one as the others were in Google book and wasn't sure how to extract or cite to that...
If the history was expanded a bit would that make it notable?
Also if this isn't notable, when can a Student Hall be notable, such as Agnes Blackadder Hall?
