This Discussion follows Sportsfan 1234's two removals ([1][2]) of color from the article. in the spirit of WP:BRD, I invite them to explain their actions here. Please note that WP:ACCESSEnsure that color is not the only method used to communicate important information. Especially, do not use colored text or background unless its status is also indicated using another method, such as an accessible symbol matched to a legend, or footnote labels. is not, in fact, violated. Medals awarded are also communicated with a numerical value in those same table rows. I've restored the article to it's state before Sportsfan 1234's edits, until a consensus could be reached. Actually you are wrong (again). The colour used in the background is NOT described in the two columns its used under. This also violates this discussion [3]. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 22:23, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First, please read WP:ACCESS again. The information should be communicated in an additional method, not the color. Second, the scope of the discussion you're pointing to is results tables in "Nation at YY Olympics" and irrelevant to our subject. CLalgo (talk) 22:35, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
