Could someone please revert the article to how it was before April 2? Reeves did not win an Academy Award for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.

In other words, please change

Keanu Charles Reeves (/kˈɑːn/ kay-AH-noo; born September 2, 1964) is a Canadian film actor. Reeves is perhaps best known for his Academy Award-winning role in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure as well as Speed, Point Break and the science fiction-action trilogy The Matrix.

Hello,

In the section about his girlfriend, the article says: "Syme died in 2001, a sole driver involved in an automobile wreck, while partying in Los Angeles.[25][26][27]" Yet, none of these sources mention anything about Syme "partying". Please look into this, thank you.

EDIT REQUEST 12/30/

Honestly, I don't think anyone here has any idea of Reeves spiritual beliefs at all. He apparently wants to keep it private. I dislike the useage of the flesh and blood comment. Did anyone read that interview? I did. So I would like to have that statement with an addition.

Instead of'His most recent comments on the subject of religion were in 2005, in which he stated: "I think [the matter of religion is] personal and private. I like the flesh and blood aspect like I said earlier."[35]

I think it should be - His most recent commments on the subject of religion were from an interview in 2005 in chich he stated: "I think all of us in western traditions relate to the seekers and messiahs and heroes and anti-heroes. We all deal with that day to day and they are entertaining. I think they are worthwhile. Myth telling and story telling is always couched in this kind of engaging, entertaining manner, whether it’s a shadow play or a circle and a story teller. It’s all the same.", as well as, " I think [the matter of religion is] personal and private. I like the flesh and blood aspect like I said earlier."[35]

I believe the first comments are more true of his spiritual beliefs than the last statement.Mylittlezach (talk) 17:02, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Father's occupation.

Here and other random sources on the internet refer to his father as a "geologist." In a Honolulu Star-Bulletin article (http://archives.starbulletin.com/2001/04/22/features/story1.html) I see the father saying he has no trade, listing the things he did do, mentioning that he earned a GED in prison, and saying he's unemployed.

None of this squares with listing someone's occupation as a geologist, nor can I find mention of his father earning a geology degree. Digging back, the geology thing apparently came from an old reference to a site called "filmreference.com" with a date from roughly the same time as the Star Bulletin article... so I don't think the father got into geology some time in the last few years. The citation to filmreference has been removed, but the content garnered from it has not.

So that's what I'm doing here until someone can verify the occupation from non wikipedia-derived sources.

Not done. Is there a specific reason it should be changed? It looks fine to me. The reason the current profile picture is used over the thousands of others online is because it's recent, from 2012, and it's a free image (as in free to use). Wikipedia's policy on non-free content states that for profile pictures, a non-free image may be used if and only if there is no free image that can fulfil the same purpose. In this case, there is a free image avaliable, so we use it. Trinitresque (talk) 14:46, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Keanu's Relationship with his father

The first paragraph of the Early Life section says that Keanu hasn't met with his father since he was 13, citing a source from 2001. As the article cited is more than 12 years old, its a highly unreliable source. The language should mention that as of 2001, Keanu still hasn't met with his father, or it should be removed entirely. Its a potentially disparaging thing to say about a living person with a high risk of no longer being true. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.104.219.162 (talk) 00:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Incorrect use of singular "paparazzi"

Heeelllllo!

It has come to my attention that in section 3.4, titled 'Legal Issues', Alison Silva, member of the paparazzi, should be described as a "paparazza", not "paparazzo".

According to the Wikipedia entry for Paparazzi, the male singular of paparazzi is paparazzo, while the female singular is paparazza. Here's the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paparazzi — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.161.5.22 (talk) 09:50, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

Racial ancestry

I've simplified his ancestry to just English on his mother's side and Hawaiian/Chinese/Portuguese on his father's side. I'm not sure whether to include the Portuguese at all - it's his great-grandmother who was half-Portuguese, making Keanu 6.25% Portuguese. The list previously mentioned 'Irish', but I did some research and learnt that this is only if you trace his family tree all the way back to around the 16th century. Even then it's not certain, so I took that out.

For years, many articles described Keanu as having an English mother and Chinese-Hawaiian father, though, and it's also how Keanu describes his own race ("I'm Chinese-Hawaiian-English," he said in a 2013 video interview), so maybe we should just put it back as that? Anakinmcfly (talk) 01:50, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

Dubious grammar

"Reeves is known for his roles in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Speed, Point Break, and The Matrix trilogy as Neo." This seems to suggest that he was Neo in all of those films, not just the last one. I think that putting "in" before each title would fix the issue, but that makes the sentence rather ugly. 31.50.70.172 (talk) 18:17, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Done I removed the "as Neo" part, and tweaked the lead, as his character names in Speed and Point Break are not that notable. -AngusWOOF (talk) 19:08, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Remove the 2nd paragraph about the Sad Keanu meme. If you actually read the article it's clear to see that he actually means the book and not the meme. The meme he's just brushing off completely.

Reference:

On the first anniversary of "Cheer-up Keanu Day", Reeves was interviewed for an article in British newspaper, The Guardian. When prompted about the unsolicited attention, he responded, "It is hopefully, in a quiet and enjoyable way, transformative. The kind of thing that takes you from this one place to another – to look at yourself and, y'know, it can always be worse. I hate that sentence: of course it can always be worse!" [1]

95.90.202.85 (talk) 15:51, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

Partly done: I've removed the quote, as it is indeed about his book and not the meme. I'm leaving the mention of him being interviewed on the 1st anniversary of the meme as the article mentions it as well, and this makes the section better sourced Cannolis (talk) 16:59, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

I don't know if "bias" really does the work justice; it's an artistic expression of obsequious fawning, like a love poem in the guise of an encyclopedia entry. Even the imdb entry is more neutral than this. I do like Mr Reeves (as a person & an actor), but the tone of this "article" actually makes me like him less, just because its so over the top. EDIT REQUEST: The part about 80 million is not true. The source linked even says $50 million (hellomagazine) - this source says it is false. Illwikithat (talk) 16:13, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

Despite going viral on the internet, the claim of Keanu donating millions (the exact amount fluctuates greatly with each article) to the people in the Matrix crew is inaccurate - he donated that money to the special effects and costume departments, not the individuals themselves. The money was to help the Wachowskis out when they broke their budget. So his act of generosity did happen, but not to those recipients. All the reports otherwise are traced back to a British tabloid, Hello, in 2003.

One source corrected it in 2003: http://www.whoaisnotme.net/articles/2003_0605_kea2.htm

Another person who knew someone who worked in the Matrix's costumes department commented on Reddit that they had not received any money from Keanu. I didn't save it, sorry. :( More recently, Eli Roth asked Keanu about this when they were working on Knock Knock, and Keanu replied that he didn't know anything about it: https://twitter.com/eliroth/status/459108222167568385

Keanu did however buy 12 Harley Davidson motorbikes as a gift to each of the stuntmen who worked with him on Reloaded, and $20k to someone in the Matrix crew who was going through family troubles.

I like Keanu a lot, and it's a very nice story, and he *is* a remarkably generous guy; but this particular instance wasn't true.

Musician? Author?

I have removed from the lead introduction his occupation as a musician, and as an author, as well as the content in the tablet detailing his "musical career", as it is properly irrelevant, and not meeting the criteria in the context of his real professional activities. Keanu Reeves is very well known in the film industry, primarily as an actor, and second, as a producer. He has directed one film so far, Man of Tai-Chi. To this point, ok. He is, correctly, very involved in several aspects of filmmaking, and he is famous for that. But why describe him as a musician, or as an author? Reeves played bass for bands that absolutely no one heard, and that made no success at all. The only one that became little known was just for having him, a hollywood star, as a member. He never made success with music, and doesn't became known as a musician at all, at any point in his life. Also, he never pursued seriously a career in music. It was more like a hobby. So, specially the part that described his time in music as a "musical career" sounded way more like a joke. The only way to describe correctly the musical part of his life in the lead was "former musician", although this description sounds irrelevant. As an author, even worst! He published only one book, that absolutely nobody has read. We should remember that, when it came to famous persons, we have to take seriously their respective claims for notoriety, and point out solely the work or occupation that made the respective person famous, and by which he/ or she earns a living. Reeves was never famous and never earned a living from music or literature. If he prepares his own food, should we describe him like a Cuisine Expert, or a Chef? He is no musician, and no author at all. Of course, if he is serious about pursuing writing actively, and continues to write and publish books - and the books generate considerable interest by the media and the public by it's own merits, and not just because they were written by a famous hollywood person - his author occupation can correctly be added in the future.Wagner Johns (talk) 04:30, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Keanu Reeves Canadian?

He was born in Lebanon to an American and a British parent. How is he Canadian by virtue of living in Canada for some years? This is inaccurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.239.159.158 (talk) 02:25, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

All I know is that Keanu is a Canadian citizen. He had to apply for a Green Card to work in the US, meaning that he does *not* have American citizenship. In a 1990 interview he said: "There was no world for me in Toronto as an actor. Because of my family (his stepfather), I had an opportunity for a green card if I went to L.A. It was pretty scary, but I had to go." (source) It's odd that he mentions being entitled to a GC via his stepfather (Paul Aaron) rather than his father. Would his parents' divorce have affected this? Could someone more familiar with citizenship laws clarify what might be going on? In 2009 he again said that he was still a Canadian citizen and added: "I've even regretted not having American citizenship, especially at election times. Although I'm by no means an activist, I think that voting is socially important. Ideally, I would take out dual nationality." (source) Anakinmcfly (talk) 14:02, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Just a guess, children below a certain age cannot be issued with their own passports, so Keanu's mother would have had to have put the infant Keanu on her British passport when they left Beirut. Then after growing up in Canada with a British mother Keanu was entitled to Canadian citizenship - Canada is a Commonwealth country.

Keanna Reeves?

On top of the page there's this "This article is about the Canadian actor. For the Philippine actress, see Keanna Reeves."

this should be removed from the english wikipedia page, she's a no name actress who I only heard about after visiting keanu's wiki page. this is practically advertisement for this actress. I seriously think it should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.64.107.146 (talkcontribs) September 29, 2017 (UTC)

He did not marry Winona Ryder. If you read the sources it's easy to see that this is a gross misrepresentation of the sources and a violation of WP:BLP. The sources are based on a lot of unfounded speculation. I suggest completely removing that paragraph. At the very least it should be reworded to properly reflect what's in the sources. Thanks. 75.182.115.183 (talk) 20:27, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

Should the paragraph stating that he married Winona Ryder be removed, modified, or unchanged? The sources are based on far-fetched speculation and a violation of WP:BLP. 75.182.115.183 (talk) 20:49, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

  • Remove - The sources are grossly misrepresented and a violation of WP:BLP. 75.182.115.183 (talk) 20:50, 14 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Remove - So they used a real priest to film a wedding for a movie and there are claims that this makes it a legal marriage. Maybe an interesting fact for the article on the movie, but WP:undue and unnecessary for a bio article. AIRcorn (talk) 17:20, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Remove - This is genuinely ridiculous. Softlavender (talk) 08:47, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Modified - According to the sources cited on the Wikipedia page, Ryder "mused" about the wedding scene. So, this paragraph could be modified to "Ryder speculated that she was married to Keanu Reeves," or "Ryder quipped that she was married to Keanu Reeves," etc. Also, according to the same cited sources, Francis Ford Coppola stated that Ryder and Reeves were married "in a sense." It can be inferred that the wedding ceremony was authentic to the traditions of the Greek Orthodox religion, but if no paperwork (sacred and/or civil) was completed, then the marriage cannot be considered legally-binding. This part of the paragraph could be modified to "the wedding ceremony was conducted in a genuine manner. However, it is not clear whether the wedding was legally-binding," etc. Msoul13 (talk) 15:25, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
Comment - I don't think Coppola can be considered an expert on the legality of marriages in Romania or the authenticity of anything in the Greek Orthodox Church. Just like Ryder, his comments are speculative. It makes for good sensationalistic news, but that's not appropriate for an encyclopedia that requires reliable sources. We can quote or closely paraphrase their comments, but we can't conclude that anything was done "in genuine manner." If any part of this issue remains in the article, it should be minimal, per WP:UNDUE. 173.209.178.244 (talk) 21:30, 17 September 2018 (UTC) (Full disclosure: I am the same as 75.182.115.183, editing from a different IP.)
Comment - Taking the above comment into consideration, the statements regarding Coppola could be modified as follows: "Director Francis Ford Coppola remarked that the ceremony was 'pretty authentic,' adding that Ryder and Reeves were married 'in a sense' because a priest led the ceremony. However, it is not clear from Coppola’s remarks whether the wedding was legally-binding." Msoul13 (talk) 16:24, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Remove - Why do we need a RfC about removing a BLP violation ? - FlightTime (open channel) 21:35, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
To be fair they did make an edit request and were told to get consensus first. I don't think it is enough of a violation to justify removing while the RFC is running, but we may be able to get an early snow close. Although that may not happen now we have a modify !vote. Just noting that the exact same paragraph and exact same RFC is at Talk:Winona Ryder#RfC: "Marriage" to Keanu Reeves. AIRcorn (talk) 23:48, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Remove Summed by a bot. Researching the topic of the RfC a little bit, it doesn't seem like the facts supporting this claim are substantial enough for it to remain on the page. Comatmebro (talk) 01:13, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Comment - In response to Msoul13's suggested wording, just to clarify, my suggestion above about modification of the paragraph is not an endorsement of the idea of modification. I am opposed to leaving anything about this issue in the article. I also agree with Aircorn above that it might be an interesting fact for the film article, but not the bio articles. 75.182.115.183 (talk) 01:16, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Modified (Summoned by bot) As with the Ryder article, it seems OK but needs to be made clearer that it was a movie wedding. Coretheapple (talk) 17:35, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
  • Remove - It is clear from reading stories on this that Ryder was referring to their weeding in the movie Dracula. Nothing else. Ryder having a joke about her felling like they have been married since then is not notable. That this discussion is even happening is pathetic. AlanStalk 07:22, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
  • Remove, but... if this is actually a persistent urban myth, it may warrant a brief mention if only to lean on a reliable source making clear that it is in fact not a genuine marriage. But that presumes a reliable source on the matter, and if one cannot be found which says as much without any synthesis involved, it may make more sense to omit the entire matter rather than have a potentially misleading discussion of the matter. Change the photo

It may sound funny, but i think its important to change this photo of Keanu Reves. The one from 2013 is old and this colours palette isn't good i guess. We have so much new photos, and i guess it's not a problem. I am new, so just to the ones, that can change the site NeronDidNothing (talk) 15:19, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

Redundancy

I am new here so I cannot edit this page, but the phrase "starring role performances" in the very first sentence seems redundant, and I suggest someone should simply make it "performances." Also, the word "blockbuster" soon after that seems unnecessary. LetterofTransit (talk) 19:08, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

"Legal issues"

Usually a section on "legal issues" is negative - it sounds negative. But of the things listed, one is a lawsuit against him that was dismissed almost immediately and the others are about stalkers coming into his home. That's a problem for him, but it's not a "legal issue" for him, if you see what I mean.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 22:10, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Hello Jimbo Wales! I agree. The section heading could perhaps become "Paparazzo and stalkers incidents"? I have also found Sandra Bullock#Legal issues, where it could become "Builder and stalkers incidents"? Regards --NicoScribe (talk) 17:31, 10 February 2019 (UTC) PS Well, thank you for the founding of you-know-what!
Hi Mr. Wales! I've changed "legal issues" to "legal incidents". Hopefully that sounds more neutral. (BTW it's really cool seeing you on a talk page!) --Bobbychan193 (talk) 22:25, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

Regarding his other exploits....

Would it be appropriate to add the designations "philanthropist and entrepreneur" or something like that at the beginning of the article next to "actor and musician" to acknowledge his other exploits outside of music and acting? Gabzony (talk) 13:48, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi there! While I agree that technically he is both a philanthropist and entrepreneur given his various ventures, I think he is not that well known specifically for these ventures. In a similar vein, Reeves also wrote the text for a picture book and played in various bands, but these are not significant enough to add the designations "author and musician". Hope this clarifies things! --Bobbychan193 (talk) 22:29, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

Removed as per Talk:Keanu_Reeves/Archive_5#RfC: "Marriage" to Winona Ryder.--Moxy 🍁 04:27, 1 July 2019 (UTC)

I don't know if validity is a case here. Here's a CNN 'article' on the matter. Not exactly a fact finding mission, but both parties do admit to being married. https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/20/entertainment/winona-ryder-keanu-reeves-married/index.html However marriage is more based on 2 factors, 1 is documentation or 2 acceptance of those around the couple, think more country recognizance not 'in law drama' That being said, I don't think it should be included more than perhaps a sentence as neither party seems to legitimately believe in the bond.PeaceKeeper1234 20:22, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

I Also Found Another (People) "Article" On That Matter ([1]). Again, Not A Fact Finding Mission, But On Your Opinion...Hmm...Okay, I Gotta Agree. Although Both Sides Admit Of Being "Married", They Doesn’t Consider Themselves That They Are In A "Relationship". Yeah...A Sentence Is Enough To Describe It, But Not "Official". Ted Theodore Logan, not Ted Logan

This may seem minor, but it's not, based on the spirit of the movie "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure." The character's name is "Ted Theodore Logan." In the movie, he is always referred to either as just "Ted," or with the full name "Ted Theodore Logan." It's an absurd name, just as his friend's name is: "Bill S. Preston Esquire." Please change the name in the Wikipedia entry from "Ted Logan" to "Ted Theodore Logan." Please see this IMDb entry for validation: [2]

So neither of these women should be listed under his Partner Section. It should be left blank.

Keanu has had many serious long term girlfriends over the years, none of them are listed.

Hello I read your response to my request. I see the three articles you mentioned in your notes above Vox, British Vogue and London Evening Standard. There is no VH1.com article in Mr. Reeves own words however. The other articles are interviews with Grant only and she has a tendency to lie. She has altered her resume a number of times after some people checked her truthfulness and confronted her about the lies. She's been sued for copyright infringement. She's been linked to a project, The Watts House in the Watts area of Los Angeles where a significant amount of money went missing on her watch. In addition, she violated the contracts of several X Artist Books artists and illustrators, by not only not paying them. She also failed to meet the terms of the contract by failing to provide annual royalty and sales reports to the artists. Could you please provide a copy of the VH1 article in which you claim Keanu Reeves personally, with his own mouth, stated he is Ms. Grants life "Partner". Sorry to be a stickler; but his own publicist, Cheryl Maisel, made a statement on Mr. Reeves behalf stating they are not in a relationship of a romantic nature. Miss Grant also made a statement of a similar nature in court documents she recently filed. Thanks, I'm sure if there is a VH1 article that will clear things up.  Not done Sorry to burst your bubble, but I just read publicist Cheryl Maisel's statement (if she even made that statement at all, since there are no reliable sources for it), which only denies Reeves' and Grant's engagement, not relationship. Secondly, a VH1 source is used in the article to prove that he was in a relationship with Syme. Thirdly, sources from Vox, Vogue and Evening Standard are used to prove his relationship with Grant. Just look at the photos of their body language in the sources! Reeves is currently filming The Matrix 4 in Berlin, and guess who's with him? Grant. We will not spoon feed you information from this article which has already been accurately written. Finally, everything else you just said about Grant's "lies" does not belong to this article. I request that the name of Alexandra Grant as a partner of Keanu reeves be removed immediately, and he never confirmed the relationship! Unless Keanu Reeves makes a statement confirming the relationship, no relationship is confirmed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Billck29 (talkcontribs) 5:04, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

Not done Although it might make something of a difference whether Reeves affirmed or denied the relationship, the reality is that his relationship with Grant has been verified by reliable sources. If you have reliable sources that contradict this & indicate that Reeves & Grant are not in a relationship, please present them here for discussion.
I think Reeves is simply a private man who does not bother with letting the press or public in on his relationships. That does not mean that they are not noteworthy.
Whether or not the subject of an article affirms or denies something does not dictate whether it goes into the article. Consider what the article on Donald Trump would be like if what we included solely depended on what he said.

I request to edit the date or the information about the partner Alexandra Grant (2009–present)[1][2] The 2 sources does not say that they have been in a relationship since 2009 it only says they've (first) known each other since 2009 and it's not indicative of them having a relationship so saying that they're in a relationship since 2009 is just factually incorrect. 122.3.93.179 (talk) 18:28, 1 December 2020 (UTC) mentai

In progress I agree that 2009 is too early. They went public in November 2019. Meg Tilly in the July 2020 People article stated "It’s just suddenly surfaced that he’s been dating her for several years." The June 2020 Evening Standard has a photo of them captioned "in 2016 they attended the UNAIDS Gala at Art Basel in Miami." I think a case could be made for either 2016 or 2018. I am open to advice, but definitely sometime before 2019 based upon what's in the sources. I think also we will need to make a {{efn}} note about it. Peaceray (talk) 21:17, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
Done I changed the beginning year to 2018, & added a {{efn}} explanatory footnote. Peaceray (talk) 22:14, 1 December 2020 (UTC)

Acceptable Source?

I found a web page that I thought might be appropriate for referencing the rumors about his affiliation with Eastern Christianity. It shows that the photo in question dates from at least 2018. However, the web page I found the photo on is hosted by Blogspot. I know that per WP:ABOUTSELF that the Blogspot platform does not typically meet Wikipedia standards for reliable sources, but I was wondering if an exception could be made here, to show that the photograph predates the Twitter rumor? The link to the photo/Blogspot page is http://apantaortodoxias.blogspot.com/2018/06/american-actors-keanu-reeves-and.html. Msoul13 (talk) 20:40, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

No, and we should not source such claims with Twitter entries, either. Wikipedia is not a rumour-monger, unless credible sources state such a thing (not yellow press), or he says it in an interview, it should not be in the article at all! See also: Wikipedia:No original research. Relying on questionable photos someone posted on a blog/Twitter is original research. Xia talk to me 22:01, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Not to mention that posing with an icon doesn't mean anything... A photo without context. A fan may have asked him to pose with it for personal reasons, or a local magazine, whatever. Unless there are credible sources of facts, rumours should be avoided in an encyclopedia, we are not Buzzfeed. Xia talk to me 22:03, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Thank you, Xia. To be clear, I was puzzled when I read the Twitter rumor in the article and didn't feel that it belonged, either. When I tried to trace its origins, the Blogspot post was the only additional item I could find - all the more reason to remove the Twitter entry from the article!! I don't have any proof, more of an opinion but the part of Keanu Reeves career where it talks about him being in the movie Sweet November, they list that movie as a romantic comedy. I disagree with the comedy part. Charlize Theron's character is sick, she has cancer and her character and Keanu's character go through a drama filled roller coaster of a relationship that is anything BUT comical. Please reconsider changing the description of this movie as there are actually very few laughable parts. *(Spoiler Alert)* Not to mention, Charlize Theron's character dies at the end of the movie. Not very funny at all. Not to mention, if you Google the movie it literally says at the top Romance/Drama.

Done per corresponding article Sweet November (2001 film) and Rotten Tomatoes.  Ganbaruby! (talk) 07:52, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

Questioning of relationship with Amy Grant

I disagree with the date of the supposed dating, because in 2018 dating rumors were reported with other women, and in 2018 Keanu was also seen with his ex Autum and on another date of the same year he was seen with a brunette.  If he had started a supposed courtship with Alexandra Grant that year, they would not have notified these other novels.  Check out one of the news here: https://www.tportal.hr/showtime/clanak/hoce-li-tajanstvena-brineta-keanu-reevesu-napokon-vratiti-vjeru-u-ljubav-foto-20181121/slika-d37d72df625e5b43776ac1a29824da80 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Billck29 (talkcontribs) 13:08, 1 March 2021 (UTC)

Based on the updated information in this article that came out this June 2021
https://www.datingcelebs.com/who-is-keanu-reeves-dating/
Keanu Reeves is not dating and has never dated Alexandra Grant. Her name is not mentioned in the actor's relationship information. I request that the name of Alexandra Grant as partner of Keanu Reeves be removed immediately. Alexandra Grant is not Keanu Reeves' girlfriend. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keanurbrasil (talkcontribs) 16:59, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
It does not strike me that datingcelebs.com fits the criteria of reliable sources. I do not know about tportal.hr. Even if we could accept them as minimally meeting the criteria of WP:RS, IMHO they pale in caliber in comparison with Vogue, Vox, or the Evening Standard.
Mr. Reeves has every right to privacy & reclusiveness. If he chooses not to deny any relationship with Amy Grant, or not to declare that he is unequivocally single & not dating, that is his purview. Until then, we can only operate with the preponderance of evidence as verified by reliable sources. In this regard, I refer editors to the Wikipedia:Verifiability, not truth essay, which opines: "Verifiability" was used in this context to mean that material added to Wikipedia must have been published previously by a reliable source. Editors may not add their own views to articles simply because they believe them to be correct, and may not remove sources' views from articles simply because they disagree with them. Change fifth sentence in "Early Life" from "His mother was working in Beirut when she met his father,[12] who abandoned his wife and family when Reeves was three years old." to "His mother was working in Beirut when she met his father,[12] who later abandoned his wife and family when Reeves was three years old." The phonetic spelling of Keanu is incorrect.

In the Hawaiian language the letter E is pronounced A like ape. So to be accurate, it should be Kay-ah-new.

The movie Speed was not a box office failure. For that matter, neither was Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. The notion that Devil’s Advocate put Reeves on the A-list of actors is preposterous. 2603:6011:4A03:2157:F9CC:B50:B3DA:4655 (talk) 12:45, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. This virtually incomprehensible, and your six signatures do not help. You have pasted the text of an explanatory note, and appear to be claiming that Keanu Reeves does not want the content of that note in his Wikipedia article. If that is correct:
  1. How do we know that what you are claiming is correct?
  2. Even if it is correct, we don't edit Wikipedia biographical articles based on the subjects' wishes. The content is sourced and there is no WP:BLP issue with note that I see. The explanatory note simply explains why we state that he has been in a relationship with Alexandra Grant since c. 2018.
